Kehoe Beach is in the area of Santa Rosa and is just North of Point Reyes. The drive up there is absolutely gorgeous, especially on a cloudy day with great friends! We drove up there a couple Saturdays ago. Left early with a stop at Nations for breakfast, and then drove through a beautiful part of California. It was a perfect day to shoot as the sun hid behind the clouds and made for some dramatic landscape shots. We had a great time walking around the beach, chasing vultures, and getting rained on. It was definitely a fun weekend adventure. It’s on of the beaches in that area you can bring your dog to FYI. I can’t wait to return again on a sunny day so we can go swimming!!!
It was about a mile walk to the beach itself through a field of shrubs and flowers. It was so exciting when we could finally see the ocean! It was fun walking through a sandy hill and being able to slide down it!
Nick’s shadow and footprints looked sooo cool! He is such an adventurer and I think that is perfectly displayed in this picture especially with that nice camera hanging down his side!
This man looked so thoughtful just watching the water on the sand. He found a nice ridge to relax on. hehe.
There were vultures devouring the remains of some animals…. we were able to get pretty close to them, but eventually they’d fly away… Their wing spans were awesome!
Can this please be a stock photo for cool, adventurous, tech-savy twenty somethings? Love them!
